Exemption Letter for products is an official document issued by an accredited authority and informing that the particular product is not subject to certification and declaring. There are two types of Exemption Letters: Exemption Letters for sale and Explanatory Letters for customs clearance.
Exemption letter for sale shall be issued if the particular product is not subject to certification and declaring. Usually, this document is submitted to the supervisory bodies as an explanatory note and to the buyers.
Exemption letter for customs offices shall be sent to the applicant’s address (director of the company requesting the letter). Such letters shall be issued by the certification bodies accredited by the Federal Technical Regulation and Metrology Agency.
